Refuge Pèlerins
Refuge Pèlerins is a backcountry wilderness hut operated by SEPAQ in Parc national du Mont-Mégantic (Sector of the Observatory). The hut sits at about 965 m altitude and typically accommodates 4 to 8 people, making it a small, practical stop for overnight stays in the area.
Access is by hike from the main reception in the Observatory sector: about a 2.4 km approach with a moderate-to-steep climb. A reservation is required to stay at the hut, and you also need a valid daily park access pass (or an annual SEPAQ card). Typical rates reported are C$37.25 per person per night on weekdays and C$40.75 per person per night on weekends; luggage transport is offered in winter for a fee (reported about C$16). Waste must be packed out, consistent with autonomous wilderness rules.
