Refuge Robert-Blanc
Refuge Robert-Blanc is a high-mountain backcountry hut at 2,750 m in the Mont Blanc massif above the Vallée des Glaciers near Bourg-Saint-Maurice. It’s used by hikers and alpinists as a base for routes in the Aiguille des Glaciers area and along the alpine and wild variant of the Tour du Mont Blanc.
The official season is 15 May to 15 September, with a guardian on-site during that period. The hut is reached from the chalets des Lanchettes via a hike of about 2 hours, and the climbing terrain around it includes aims such as Aiguille des Glaciers and the Dôme des Glaciers, plus other itineraries toward the wider glacier-and-ridge network from the refuge.
