Alpine hutRefuge Saint-Joseph is a Sépaq backcountry hut in Parc national du Mont-Mégantic, set up as a small two-person shelter. It’s a rustic, “pack-in” style hut: bring your own gear, food, sleeping bag, and water, since there’s no fireplace provided and the hut is essentially a roof over your head.
Booking is handled exclusively through Sépaq’s reservation center by phone, with reservations required at least 24 hours in advance. Rates are generally around $35–$37 per person per night, depending on the season and day of the week. The hut sits at about 1,065 m elevation and is reached by a steep hike of more than 3 km.
