Refugio Del Conde

Refugio Del Conde is a backcountry alpine hut used for overnight stays and simple camping near El Bolsón. The hut is set up for small groups, with capacity for about 25 people, and it has a basic shared kitchen with kitchenware, a hot-water shower, and a letrina/outhouse setup.

Overnight use runs on first-come, first-served—no advance reservations are accepted. You’ll need to bring a sleeping bag; if you plan to cook, bring a camping stove (open fires are restricted). A practical route reference from the main access area is Wharton, about 14 km from the hut, typically taking around 5–6 hours on foot depending on pace.
