Rendezvous Hut
Rendezvous Hut is a wilderness backcountry hut in the Rendezvous hut network near Winthrop, Washington. The hut is part of a Nordic-style trail system where you can ski between huts on connecting trails.
The hut is a frame building that sleeps up to 10 people, with the main floor having a 48" double bunk bed and an additional sitting/sleeping shelf by the fire, and upstairs sleeping for about 5 to 6 people. It uses a wood stove for heat, propane lighting, and a sanitary outhouse; the kitchen setup includes a propane cook stove/oven and basic cookware and utensils.
Rendezvous Huts are reserved through the hut operator’s booking system (also accessible through their reservations platform). A trail pass fee applies for each day you ski the trail system.
Beginning in the winter 2024–25 season, a 20% non-refundable deposit is charged within 24 hours of the reservation. For check-in, gear is staged for freight haul drop-off by 10am at the Cub Creek Trailhead; check-in is 12 noon (walk in), and hut check-out is 11am with gear ready for freight haul out by 10:30. Late hauls incur a $45 charge.
