River Trail Yurt

River Trail Yurt is a backcountry yurt rental at Eagle River Nature Center, reached by hiking from the Nature Center trailhead (about 2 miles). The yurt sleeps up to 4 people on wooden bunks, with room for up to 2 additional people on the floor.

The yurt has a deck and a woodstove; firewood is provided. Inside/around the unit you’ll find tables and chairs, a bear-proof locker, and an outdoor latrine.

Bring clothing and bedding for cold weather and prepare for basic backcountry comfort in a small rental. River Trail Yurt stays tied to the Nature Center’s rental operation: reservations are recommended/required for this yurt, trails in the area are non-motorized, and check-in is at 2:00 PM with check-out at 12:00 PM.
