Alpine hut

Sautauriski is a Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier backcountry hut used as an overnight stop in winter and as a rustic shelter in summer. It sleeps up to 6 people in mezzanine beds.

Inside you’ll find tables, a wood stove, and a space heater, plus access to outside dry toilets (no running water). Fireplace use isn’t listed as provided—plan to rely on the wood stove for heat.

Backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, and fatbiking all connect to this hut for winter itineraries; in summer it functions as a rustic backcountry shelter near the Sautauriski off-trail area.

Reservations are mandatory and must be made by phone through the Sépaq reservation system at 1-800-665-6527.
