Scandinavian Peaks Hut is a wilderness backcountry hut run by the Mountaineering Club of Alaska in the Matanuska Glacier area, built in 1990. It sleeps 10 and sits at about 5,150 ft elevation, positioned adjacent to the Scandinavian Glacier near Denmark Peak; access requires glacier travel skills, with fly-in possible via a gravel Super Cub airstrip about ¼ mile from the hut (one-way only, tundra tires required).

Inside, the hut includes an insulated sleeping setup and a 2-burner Coleman cook stove; bring your own fuel. Water is available from about 40 yards behind the hut from small rivulets that may be frozen in the morning, with additional water sources on the Scandinavian Glacier below. Human waste must be packed out using trash compactor bags in a 5-gallon bucket or the Rest Stop provided by Meekin's air service; all human waste must be packed out. Use is limited to members of the Mountaineering Club of Alaska.
