SFU Climbing Wall

SFU Climbing Wall is an indoor facility operated by Simon Fraser University Recreation at the Burnaby campus. It offers rope climbing, bouldering, and three auto-belays, with 18 rope-climbing lines.

All climbers must complete a facility orientation and sign a waiver before using the mats. Belayers need to pass the facility belay check and display an SFU belay tag; the minimum belay age is 14 except during supervised sessions. Children aged 6–13 must climb with an adult aged 19 or older.
