Slaven's Public Use Cabin
Slaven's Public Use Cabin is a public-use wilderness cabin operated by the United States National Park Service in Yukon–Charley Rivers National Preserve. It sleeps up to 4 comfortably (8 max) and is reached by staying close to Slaven’s Roadhouse and then hiking 100 yards along the upper trail to Coal Creek Camp.
The cabin is set up for self-reliant trips with a wood stove, wood supply information, and an outhouse, plus a food cache. The National Park Service built the cabin in 1993 for public use, and it is managed under the preserve’s public use cabin rules on a first-come, first-served basis.
