Sugar Shack

Sugar Shack is a Kawartha Nordic backcountry warming hut used as a trail rest-stop for snowshoe and ski visitors. It’s an un-reservable first-come, first-serve warming cabin with a wood stove that’s regularly stoked in winter, serving as a place to pause, eat snacks, and warm up.

It’s reached from Kawartha Nordic snowshoe and ski trails, with access described as a short snowshoe loop (about 3 km) or on skis.
