Yurt 1

Yurt 1 is one of the Moenkopi Yurts at Dead Horse Point State Park, operated by the park. The yurt has space for up to 6 people and uses a reservation system; it’s also set up with accessibility accommodations.

Use is reservation-based on a four-month rolling schedule through the park’s ReserveAmerica booking page. Moenkopi Yurts come with an AC/heater unit and include a bunk bed, futon bed, tables (indoors and outdoors), lamps, grills, and fire pits. Rules include no pets, no smoking, and no cooking inside the yurts, and there are no showers at the state park. The park also notes quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am and requires campers to fill water storage tanks and containers before arriving.
