Cosmic Lights

Cosmic Lights is a climbing wall in the South Cliffs sector of Mt Wells, on a large ledge above The Snooze and left of The Schoolyard Wall. The off-vertical basalt wall is about 15–20 metres high.

The crag offers six sport climbs and two trad climbs, with grades from 5.7 to 5.12b. Routes include the 22-metre 5.7 sport climb No Name, 5.9 and 5.10 lines, and a 5.8 finger crack that can be set up for top-roping.

The wall is reached from the Mt Wells approach in roughly 5–10 minutes. It dries slowly, is sheltered from wind, and can become wet in rain; helmets are required in the Mt Wells area because rockfall is a regular concern.
