Apiary North Face

Apiary North Face is a tall, north-facing slab above and left of The Apiary in the Tunnel Point climbing area near Lions Bay, British Columbia. The wall stays shaded and can moss over, making it a particularly useful setting for climbers seeking cooler conditions when the rock is dry.

The crag has two sport routes: Loose Moose (5.12c) and September Sunsets (5.11b). Loose Moose climbs 37 m on 18 bolts and requires a 70 m rope; September Sunsets is 32 m with 15 bolts. Both routes reach chains with views toward Howe Sound.

Access planning should account for the Tunnel Point parking restrictions described in the 2020 update: Brunswick Road, about 1.3 km south of the former parking area, was identified as the preferred option, followed by roughly 20 minutes along the highway shoulder to the trailhead and 30 minutes onward to the crag.
