Apron Boulders

Loading map…

Apron Boulders is a granite bouldering area in Squamish’s Stawamus Chief complex, spread between Grand Wall and the Apron Parking Lot and extending north of Animal Magnetism. The area contains a broad mix of overhanging, steep and vertical problems, with crimps and slopers on the granite.

Problems span V0 to V14, with more than 200 lines represented in one climbing database. Named objectives include Shots Fired, Tatonka, Gibbs Cave and the V13 Black Magic. The approach from the parking area takes about five minutes uphill.

Landing quality varies: some problems have uneven or steep ground suited to a pad and a spotter, while others require several pads and multiple spotters because of more chaotic landings.
