Baldwin Crack Area
Baldwin Crack Area is a small granite crag near the parking lot at Murrin Park in Squamish. The short approach begins at the far end of the lot, beside the entrance to the trail leading up to the crag.
The area is primarily traditional climbing, with seven listed routes from 5.6 to 5.12c in the Yosemite Decimal System. The selection includes Beginner’s Luck at 5.6 and 20 m, Lost Friendships at 5.10c and 25 m, The Baldwin Roof at 5.11d and 22 m, and the 5.12c routes Wabbit Handcuffs and The Punisher. Cruisin’ for Grins is a 5.10b option, and Cougar Crack provides a V0+ boulder problem.
