Boundary Creek Yurt
Boundary Creek Yurt is a backcountry wilderness yurt in Utah’s High Uintas, operated by the Bear River Outdoor Recreation Alliance (BRORA). It sleeps 4 and is a carry-in/carry-out shelter that supports backcountry skiing and snowshoe access in winter conditions.
Reservations are required and are handled through the Evanston Recreation Center. Winter and spring reservations open on the last Monday of October; summer and fall bookings open in late April. The yurt setup includes bunks and a wood-burning stove with firewood, plus a fireplace.
Access is non-motorized, using a marked approach trail that starts from the yurt system around Ridge Yurt; beyond Ridge Yurt the route is not groomed. The approach is about 6.5 miles from the Lily Lake trailhead area, and the yurt is at roughly 9,550 feet elevation in the High Uintas.
