Castle Peak Yurt
Castle Peak Yurt is a backcountry wilderness yurt in Utah’s Uinta Mountains, operated by Inspired Summit Adventures as a four-season base for hut-style trips in the Western Uinta Hut System. The yurt sleeps up to 9 guests and includes a wood-burning stove and a 3-burner propane stove, plus kitchen utensils/flatware, bunk sleeping, a cedar barrel sauna, and catered options in addition to self-guided stays.
Winter access is available for self-guided guests by reservation (winter self-guided reservations open November 15), while winter excursions must be guided and catered. Summer and winter nightly rates are listed by the operator (including per-night pricing up to 4 people and additional per-person fees), with optional porter service and, for winter, a one-time orientation fee; booking is handled through the operator’s reservation process.
