Buron du Rauffet

Buron du Rauffet is a private agricultural cabin-style shelter at about 1,210 m in the Monts du Cantal. It has a fireplace and is mapped with a nominal sleeping capacity of 15, but public use is blocked.

Access is restricted: it’s secured with a private-access setup (signage and locks), and it has been sealed so it cannot be used as a mountain refuge. With that status, plan to carry your own overnight shelter instead of relying on this buron.
