Cacodemon
Cacodemon is a sport-climbing sector on the Cacodemon Boulder below The Chief in Squamish, British Columbia. The area has short, powerful routes ranging from 5.11a to 5.14d, with individual lines reaching 21 m.
The hardest and best-known line is Dreamcatcher (5.14d), a 21 m route that links a delicate slab, steep sloping rails, powerful boulder problems, and a final technical sequence. Other established lines include Working Man (5.14b), Smell the Glove / Silent Menace (5.14c), Permanent Waves (5.13d), Bravado (5.13d), Creepshow (5.13d), and easier options such as Fin Surfer (5.11a) and Echolocation (5.12a).
Cacodemon lies within a provincial park. Protect the granite: damaging or defacing the rock, including manufacturing holds in solid stone, is not acceptable climbing practice.
