Cairn Creek Hut

Cairn Creek Hut is a Parks Victoria backcountry hut in the Greater Alpine National Park area. It’s a useable base for multi-day hiking and high-country travel through this remote section of the Bogong High Plains and nearby hut network.

The hut has a fireplace and is set up with basic wilderness shelter features, with access permitted. Treat it as a self-sufficient hut stop: bring everything you need for cooking and warmth, and plan to manage fire use carefully based on conditions at the time of your trip.
