Cat Lake
Cat Lake is a compact climbing area above the Squamish valley, with varied climbing spread across the Sharkies, Goin’ Postal, and Holoduke walls. The setting faces the Tantalus Range, and routes reach about 31 metres.
Sharkies is a north-facing metamorphic wall with longer routes and summer sun arriving around mid-afternoon. West-facing Goin’ Postal gets sun from late morning to noon and combines granite cracks, roofs, and varied movement. Holoduke is a shorter approach from the trailhead, while Sharkies and Goin’ Postal take about 20 minutes to reach.
From Squamish, take the Highway 99 turnoff marked Cat Lake, then follow the dirt road toward the lake and continue about 800 metres up the left fork on Brohm Creek FSR. Parking is at the trailhead; the approach climbs through talus. Pack out all waste, and use draws rather than top-roping through fixed biners.
