Loading map…

Circus is a sport-climbing sector in Chek, within the Cheakamus Canyon climbing area near Squamish, British Columbia. It forms the southern continuation of Toxic Lichen and contains 25 listed sport climbs.

The wall is blocky and moderately overhanging, with many routes offering useful shelter in wet weather. From Toxic Lichen, follow the wall left to the black arête with a short roof near its base; that feature marks Circus.

Routes span a broad range of steep sport climbing. Examples include Thin Ice at 5.12a over 27 m with 7 bolts, Bottom Feeder at 5.12d over 26 m with 11 bolts, and the short 7 m Down System at 5.14a with 6 bolts.
