Commonwealth
Commonwealth is a granite traditional crag in Murrin Park near Squamish, with 15 routes from 15 to 30 m long. The southeast-facing wall is heavily shaded, making it a useful choice for hot afternoons.
The route selection is concentrated in the moderate range, from 5.6 to 5.10c. Otto Mattock (5.6), Fanfare for the Common Man (5.7), Ancient Squamish Secret (5.9), and Groovy Guru (5.10c) are among the named lines. Protection is generally plentiful, and the routes finish at bolted chain anchors.
From the Murrin parking lot, follow the lakeshore and forest trail. After passing back into the forest, take the first obvious right marked with orange indicators; the final section takes roughly three minutes. The crag is reached from the Murrin Loop Trail.
