Conroy's Castle

Conroy's Castle is a granite sport-climbing crag in Cheakamus Canyon near Squamish, with a flat, south-facing wall and morning sun. The approach from the parking area takes under five minutes, making it a practical venue for beginner sport climbers; most routes are 5.9 and below.

The area has 17 listed routes from 5.4 to 5.10a, with single-pitch climbs ranging from 8 to 27 metres. Longer objectives include Asian's Gumby Superhighway, a 45-metre two-pitch 5.6 with 16 bolts, and Charlotte's Web, a 40-metre two-pitch route with 5.9 and 5.7 pitches.

Asian Princess Needs Dead Bird is a 23-metre 5.7 sport route established by Jessica Chen and Eric Tran in 2021. Its newer development may include grit or loose rock; use a helmet, avoid lingering beneath the wall, and keep the belay tight near the final bolts because of a potential ledge fall.
