Crow Hut

Crow Hut is a Department of Conservation backcountry hut in Kahurangi National Park (Motueka area). It’s a standard 12-bunk hut used for multi-day tramps out of the Motueka region.

Bookings aren’t required—use is first come, first served. You’ll need a Standard Hut Ticket for each night you stay (put it in the honesty box at the hut), or a Backcountry Hut Pass for unlimited use at most Standard and Serviced huts for a 12 month period. Fees listed for stays up to 30 June 2026 are $10 per night for adults (18+), $5 per night for youth (5–17), and free for children/infants (0–4). The hut has 12 bunks, drinking water is untreated, and there’s a fireplace plus toilets with pit-latrine disposal.
