Diamantina Hut

Diamantina Hut is a historic A-frame emergency refuge shelter on the Great Alpine Road near Mt Hotham, used as a trailhead waypoint for the Razorback Walk. It’s intended for emergency use or temporary shelter in brutal alpine weather rather than reserved overnight accommodation.

In practice, if you’re planning to overnight in the Mt Feathertop/Razorback area, treat Diamantina Hut as an emergency stop and plan your sleeping elsewhere; the hut is not set up for reservable stays or beds.
