Eight Mile Hut

Eight Mile Hut sits on Coronet Peak Station in the Otago high country. It’s a private, locked hut used by station staff, and you should not plan on accessing it for overnight stays without prior permission.

The hut is associated with the Coronet Loop Trail area; it was constructed over the remains of two older huts, and its setting is on a river flat south of Eight Mile Creek.
