Fern Gully

Fern Gully is a west-facing climbing crag in Smoke Bluffs Park, Squamish, connected to the park’s hiking and climber-access trail network. The Viewpoint Trail reaches the area via Split Beaver and Pink Cliff, with stair work installed through the gully.

The crag has eight documented routes, ranging from 5.4 to 5.11d. Climbing is predominantly traditional, with route lengths of 12–35 m; the listed sport exception is The Space Between at 5.11d and 22 m. Other routes include Fern Gully at 5.4 and 25 m, Dog-Legging at 5.8 and 25 m, and Rampage at 5.9 and 35 m.

Smoke Bluffs is a near-urban frontcountry setting. Keep noise down near nearby homes, use the designated parking area, and do not anchor from fences, hydro towers, or similar structures; some cliffs in the broader area are on private land and closed.
