Frampton's Hut

Frampton's Hut is a six-bunk backcountry hut in Northland’s Waimā Forest, run by the Department of Conservation. The hut sits in a flat clearing above Falls creek, near the Six Foot Track.

Use is free and bookings aren’t required—expect first come, first served. Water is untreated, and there’s a pit latrine on site; handwashing facilities are available.
