Gîte et Station du Col de Légal
Gîte et Station du Col de Légal is a backcountry mountain stop at Col de Légal (1231 m) operated by the Communauté de communes du pays de salers, with on-site lodging in 17 rooms for a total of 52 beds. It’s positioned on the GR 400, which makes it a natural option for thru-hikers and winter cross-country skiing users in the area.
On the station side, the facility includes a professional kitchen for self-catering and a laundry room, plus an on-site wellness area with sauna and jacuzzi. The setup also supports ski-related stays, with cross-country ski facilities in the nearby domain and electric mountain bike rentals available for warmer-season exploration on-site.
