Island Forks (Biodiversity) Hut

Island Forks (Biodiversity) Hut is a small Department of Conservation backcountry biodiversity hut in Tararua Forest Park, built for conservation work and typically left empty except when needed. It has two bunks and is designed for simple, remote hut use near the forks of the East and West Waitewaewae rivers (often treated as Island Forks in route planning).
