Lower Badge Boulders

Lower Badge Boulders is part of the Sheriff’s Badge Boulders area near Squamish’s Stawamus Chief. The approach begins from the Apron Parking lot: drive a short distance, then take the trail into the woods before the Angels Crest Trail. Several boulders sit close to the trailhead, with additional problems farther uphill.

The broader area has 20 documented boulder problems spanning V0/V0+ to V10. Lower Badge includes problems such as New Sheriff in Town (V1), Sheriff’s Snack (V3), Golden God (V4), Keith’s Roof (V8), and Almost Famous (V10). Sheriff’s Snack is near the back of the sector beside the I Shot the Sheriff Slab and uses a pad for protection.
