Majestic

Loading map…

Majestic is a V6 deep-water solo boulder problem at Britannia Beach on Howe Sound. The line is about 7 m long and climbs an overhanging prow directly above the water.

The sequence begins in a hueco, traverses right along a seam, then makes a large move to the arete before finishing with a delicate mantle over the lip. Access is commonly described either as a roughly 15-minute hike from the highway or as a 20-minute paddle from Britannia Bay; another approach follows the railway south from the Minaty gravel pit for about 20 minutes and passes through a tunnel.

Water level changes the start significantly. At high tide, the water can reach the opening holds; at low tide, getting established may require a sideways dyno from shore. An intermediate tide provides the most straightforward start.
