Mangaturuturu Hut

Mangaturuturu Hut is a serviced DOC hut in Tongariro National Park (Central North Island region), with 8 bunk beds and wood-burner heating. The hut sits at 1250 m and is managed jointly for trampers; it has an annual supply of firewood flown in and users are expected to limit firewood use so there’s enough for everyone. Water is available as untreated supply, and toilets use a pit latrine system.
