Minor Threat Boulders
Minor Threat Boulders is a newer bouldering area in the Mount Seymour Conservation Area near Deep Cove, British Columbia. The area has 16 documented problems, generally concentrated in the moderate range, with the mapped grade spread running from V0 to V1. It works well as a short warm-up stop before continuing to Quarry Rock or the Cove Marina climbs.
Use the Quarry Rock parking area: follow Indian River Drive for about 3 kilometres to the gravel lot beneath the power lines. From there, walk roughly 50 metres farther along the road, take the first right onto the Baden Powell Trail, and turn right at the bottom of the first stairs. The boulders are about a five-minute walk from the parking area.
One documented problem, Jagr Mullet 68, is a 10-foot (3-metre) V0 that climbs past diagonal cracks on right-hand slopers, just right of a mossy dirt cleft.
