Mistake Flats Hut

Mistake Flat Hut is a backcountry DOC hut in the Rangitata and Rakaia Rivers area within Te Kahui Kaupeka Conservation Park (Canterbury). It’s a standard six-bunk hut with first-come, first-served use—no bookings are required—but you must buy a Standard Hut Ticket for each night (or use a Backcountry Hut Pass).
