Multinational Wall
Multinational Wall is the taller wall at Family Crag, a sport-climbing crag reached by crossing the highway from the parking area and following a flagged trail through old-growth forest. The approach takes only a couple of minutes, but the highway crossing requires care.
The wall has five routes arranged left to right: Roots run through us (5.10a/b), She like shiny rocks (5.8), Crawl (5.10c), Multinational (5.10c), and Man cave (5.10b). The climbing includes a bouldery bulge, face climbing, a corner and crack, slab, and an airy arete. Routes reach up to 25 m and use no more than nine bolts; a 60 m rope is ideal, while a 50 m rope requires care and a knot at the end. The guide gives May to October as the main season, with a seasonal creek sometimes flooding the access rail in April and early May.
