Murphys Bivvy

Murphys Bivvy is a basic two-bunk backcountry hut in the Rangitata and Rakaia Rivers area of Te Kahui Kaupeka Conservation Park (Canterbury), managed by the Department of Conservation. Use is free and no bookings are required—it's first come, first served.

Inside, the hut has beds and a pit latrine toilet. There is limited firewood at the hut; don’t cut down vegetation to make fires.
