Musterers Hut

Musterers Hut is a backcountry hut at Snowfarm in New Zealand. It sleeps up to 36 people and is set up with a central partition wall so you can book the Westside (12 beds) or the Eastside (24 beds) separately, or take the whole hut.

Inside, there are 6 bunk rooms total, split into the two sides, with two kitchen areas, gas cookers, and utensils. The hut has two fireplaces with wood supplied and off-grid power features including solar-powered lighting, plus composting toilets with water provided at the hut.

Winter operations include bag transfers to Musterers Hut (maximum 15 kg per bag). Winter check-in is by 12:30 pm with bags checked in by 1:00 pm, and staying overnight during winter requires an overnight trail pass.
