Neverlandia Rock
Neverlandia Rock is a west-facing crag in Squamish’s Beyond the Gondola area, with mainly wall and slab climbing on granite. The seven documented routes span 5.10a to 5.11a and include six sport climbs and one trad line.
From the Sea to Sky Gondola summit lodge, the approach takes about 15 minutes. Start on the Al’s Habrich trail roughly 200 m east of the lodge, then follow the marked approach past the boardwalk and stairs, across the stream, and down to the crag. A second approach climbs the Habrich connector from Shannon Creek FSR in about 15 minutes.
The route list includes Gritstoning With Bolts (5.10d, 15 m, sport), Less So (5.10a, 15 m, trad), Stinkerbell (5.11a, 20 m, sport), The Mousehole (5.11a, 20 m, sport), Rosy’s Elegant Serrations (5.10c, 20 m, sport), and A Face with Dimples (5.10c, 20 m, sport). The routes are arranged right to left in that order; all have rappel anchors. Plan the descent around the gondola’s final ride, as the return hike is long.
