Original Wall
Original Wall is one of five sectors at Lillooet Edge, a roughly 60-metre granitic cliff in British Columbia. The sector offers four sport routes and sits to the right of a deep, brushy dihedral, with the climbs beginning just below the approach trail.
A single trail follows the cliff base, and the sectors are only a few minutes from the parking area. Lillooet Edge receives sun throughout the day and is wet in rain. The rock is more fractured and brittle than Squamish granite, with small holds on steep faces; almost all climbs are bolted, with anchors, chains, or rings provided where needed for rappelling.
Parking is limited to the small gravel road: stay off the paved switchback, and move on if no gravel-road parking is available. The approach follows the left-branching road before a short path leads to the main wall. Keep the area clean to help preserve access.
