Passburn Hut

Passburn Hut is a private locked backcountry hut on the Greenstone valley, operated out of Elfin Bay Station. It includes a small cooking area and a separate bunkroom, and it’s used for mustering work in the valley.

The hut is set up with 4 bunks and basic shelter functions: heating, mattresses, toilets, and an open fire and gas stove. Water is collected from the roof into a tank. Permission is required in advance to visit or use it.
