Peanut Boulder
Peanut Boulder is a bouldering landmark in the Cypress Mountain area near Vancouver, reached along the Mountain Path Trail. From the Well of Poison area, follow the trail west for about 100 metres to the boulder.
Its documented problem, “Mr Peanut,” is graded V1. The line begins with both hands matched in a low horizontal crack and climbs straight up the face, making it a useful warm-up. Noah Jarvis made the first ascent in 2022.
A ramp roughly 10 metres to the left leads toward the Trunk Monkey Boulders via a faint trail. That continuation is rough, and the developing boulders farther along include chossy rock.
