Peats Hut

Peats Hut is a remote former musterers’ hut area on Branches Road in Otago, near the Shotover River. It historically served Coronet Peak Station and sits in the rugged Skippers Canyon country. Today, the “Peats Hut” name is most widely used as a river gauging reference point for the Shotover River flow measurement used in whitewater planning.
