Pilot's Lounge
Pilot's Lounge is a bolted sport-climbing crag in Squamish, with a compact collection of routes on a wall about 25 metres high. The routes are concentrated in the 5.12 to 5.13b range, making this a focused venue for experienced sport climbers; the area has been catalogued with eight routes.
A steep approach from the Mamquam Forest Service Road takes about 30 minutes. Access to the main wall is via From the Ground Up, a 40-metre 5.11a route that reaches a broad ledge extending along the wall. A separate anchor at the ledge's far left allows rappelling with a 60-metre rope.
The wall stays shaded until late afternoon, which can make Pilot's Lounge a useful choice during warmer periods. Early development included roughly half a dozen bolted lines and an open project in 2016, so route information and hardware should be checked against current local resources before climbing.
