Quercus Cliff

Quercus Cliff is a compact climbing crag in Murrin Park, with featured granite and predominantly vertical face climbing. The short approach leads to a secluded setting among Douglas firs, set back from highway noise.

The crag has 18 documented routes from 5.10b to 5.14a, combining sport, trad, and mixed climbing. The Glass Slipper is a 15 m, six-bolt 5.10d sport route that makes a useful warm-up; harder objectives include A Prince Amongst Thieves at 5.12b and Vorpal Sword at 5.12d. A Prince Amongst Thieves is 25 m with eight bolts, but its easier upper section has a substantial runout before the final bolt.
