Reardon Hut

Reardon Hut is a basic two-bunk hut operated by the Department of Conservation in Ruataniwha Conservation Park (Canterbury region). Use is free and no bookings are required; it works on a first come, first served basis.

Access is managed via permissions from Glen Lyon Station before you walk or drive in to the hut. The hut has two bunk beds, untreated drinking water, and toilets with pit latrine disposal. A fireplace is not provided, so plan on cooking and heating options that don’t rely on a fire.
