Refugio San Martín / Refugio Jakob

Refugio San Martín / Refugio Jakob is a backcountry mountain hut on the left shore of Lago Jakob (in the Nahuel Huapi area), used as a base for hikes and traverses to nearby lakes and peaks. It has sleeping space for up to about 60 people, with multiple dormitory rooms and bunks.

Plan on a reservation for overnight stays. The overnight booking includes a place with a mattress; you must bring your own sleeping bag. Meals are arranged after you arrive (and payments at the hut are in cash).
