Shaketown
Shaketown is a compact Revelstoke-area crag with three south-facing sectors: West Crag, Centre Fold, and East Crag. The cliffs are roughly 15 metres high, with mostly steep, finger-oriented climbing on rock that dries quickly after rain.
The area has 27 documented routes, predominantly sport, with US grades from 5.6 to 5.13a. West Crag has 12 routes, Centre Fold 5, and East Crag 10; the crag is generally suited to single-pitch climbing, with a short approach of about five minutes from the parking area. Access is via a logging road 13.6 km from the Trans-Canada Highway 1 and Highway 23 South junction, west of Revelstoke. Take care around active logging operations.
